We were delighted to welcome back an Abbey Alumna who has gone on to become a hugely successful broadcaster – now a household name on TV and radio – Jenni Falconer!
It was a fantastic opportunity to hear Jenni’s career story, gain an invaluable insight into TV, radio and podcasts, and listen to her advice on careers in broadcasting.
Jenni shared her journey from presenting on BBC Scotland to ITV. She revealed what it’s actually like to present such well known TV shows as This Morning, Lorraine and The National Lottery. We explored how she moved into radio, presenting on Heart and now hosting Smooth Radio’s breakfast show. We also listened to how her love of running led to her successful podcast ‘RunPod’.
It was a fantastic chance to discover more about what it’s really like to work in national television and radio and gain valuable advice on starting a broadcasting career.
