The Abbey School’s multi-award winning festival to inspire girls in sport returned for a third year. GB gold medal gymnast Claudia Fragapane and coach Louis Pugh from Reading FC Community Trust ran this year’s FREE sport taster sessions for 3 – 9 year old children.
- Nursery & Reception (3-4 years olds) – Dance & football
- Year 1 & Year 2 (5-6 year olds) – Touch rugby gymnastics & athletics
- Year 3 to Year 4 (7-9 year olds) – Cricket, netball, football & gymnastics
This year, we were also delighted to welcome local clubs who showcased opportunities for children to get involved in their respective clubs: Reading FC Community Trust, Sonning Hockey Club, GD Tennis, Woodley Netball Club, and Reading Athletics Club – thank you for your support!
